No matter what I do I cannot get this pole in the middle level. Other than that it’s great. I fired it up temporarily to make sure it worked & it did. It’s sitting inside because I need a cover for it. I will move it out on our covered breezeway. We live in FL so this is perfect for those nights it’s a little too chilly. It’s a gift so I didn’t want to run it too long. For the most part the assembly is easy. I have three parts left that are not in the directions at all. I even had both my kids read them to make sure I wasn’t missing anything. My guess is they are for the center support & have something to do with holding the propane tank. I love the “table” that goes around it. Perfect for a few little decorations. That I can get level despite the center pole. It’s all ready to give to my partner for Christmas. He’ll be happy to see it. The patio heater is also extremely high, the controls are also high. It’s fine if you’re tall, but if you’re petite you may need someone to reach them.. Deborah. US. the price is plugged into the 5 star score - best value gas heater both nat gas and propane fuel - Why ? simple operation no unneccesaryt bells and whistles - there are 4 major components and are easy to replace - fires right up - the cost is 25 cents on the dollar for other fancy units - does what it should - puts out heat - the igniter leaves a little to be desired but can be replaced easily.
