I’m super excited to have this compost bin. Assembly was straightforward and everything snapped together perfectly. I like the open bottom so that earthworms will have easy access to the compost. I finished the install on this with my own paver platform and rain chain. Had our first rain already and filled it up. I did replace the spigot. While this isn’t drinking water, I still don’t want lead runoff. I replaced it with a 304 Stainless Steel 34 Inch NPTMIP Male Hose Bibb (in case you are searching for the size). It’s a perfect fit, no leaks, and excellent pressure. I’m still giving it 5 stars because I got my barrel when it was marked down. The sale price the new spigot was still cheaper than the regular price d barrel. This was even better looking than I thought it would be. It looks beautiful. However, customers should know that there is no opening for a diverter hose from a downspout. And there are no instructions for setting up other than the spigots. It seems like it is designed to just sit anywhere and gather rain, which would take forever.
