For my small space, 7 x 9, with a tall ceiling, I’m very happy with this small air con. I’ve noticed it’s cooled down my shed office and made it more bearable, both during the day and night. It’s not as cold as a regular air con, but it’s still very good. Compared to a portable evaporative cooler, this unit makes being in a small space, more enjoyable. The unit is whisper quiet depending on the setting. Even on high, it’s much more quiet than the traditional non inverter units. It’s worth the bump in price. And this is a much more affordable solution that doesn’t need professional installation. No jump in my electric bill either. I don’t have central air and no plans to get it. This works just fine.
