The product is a decorative cap intended to be used with fence posts. With a simple installation, this post is perfect for the average DIYer.

No warranty information came with the box, or instructions either. I had to reach out to the manufacturer for them as Wayfair was not really helpful. The Y-Latch is a swing latch that provides adjustability to your gate. Designed to work with aluminum gates and is composed of steel, so it will withstand the most extreme weather conditions. This latch is is lockable in two places for extra security and works with 2" posts and 2" uprights.

This Y-latch is just what I was looking for, it is a little bigger then i needed, but it won't work with my gate. the space between the gate and the post is too small. I think you need at least 2in. On a whole, I like this panel. It ws very easy to assemble, and I love the look of the wood and the black metal together. My biggest issue was the fact that they sent an incorrect piece instead of one of the spacers, and it would have been way to much trouble to get them to replace it, so I had to make due on my own. Luckily, the top piece gets screwed into the frame, so I was able to secure it without the spacer, bit that was still disappointing. Other than that, I'm very happy with it.. Amanda. Bloomington, IL.
