I really like it because there are times when I want my Frenchie to stay calm and in one spot, especially while I’m cleaning or passing the vacuum. It’s perfect for that and he seems very comfortable. To be honest, I think I would have liked a darker wood color better, but this one is fine for now and it still looks very elegant in the room. Overall, this is a very nice piece of furniture and looks beautiful in the room. It definitely works well as both a crate and a stylish console. However, the sliding barn door hardware is an issue — the track where the doors slide tends to fall out, which can be frustrating. Also, it’s not ideal for very small dogs. My 5 lb Chihuahua was able to escape, so I wouldn’t recommend it for tiny breeds unless you plan to reinforce it. Aside from those concerns, it’s an attractive and functional piece.. Anonymous.
