This cart is functional, pretty, and exactly what I needed for my kitchen space. Solid wood, easy to put together. The instructions were clear, and easy to follow. It lost one star because I only received one cabinet knob, not two, and had to run to the hardware store to purchase replacements to complete the build. The customer service center was closed for the weekend by the time I realized the error, but regardless I wanted it completed, so off I went. Replacement knobs in hand, the rest of the assembly went smoothly. Getting the top placed correctly was a teensy bit tricky, I do wish there had been some indication as to what was the front or back, but I managed to get it done. I ordered this in white to match a baker’s rack that I also ordered from Wayfair, and I’m very happy with it. I have an outdated kitchen with minuscule space for kitchen prep, and while the island top isn’t as big as I’d like it to be, it definitely adds some much-needed prep space, along with a ton of storage, including drawers and cabinets. It’s incredibly heavy, sturdy and functional. I wasn’t crazy about the silver hardware, so I did switch out the knobs snd pulls to better match the hardware in the rest of my kitchen. The island did have one flaw a chip out of the top corner of the table and someone from the factory or warehouse colored it in with marker. It was small but very noticeable.
