If you're not ashamed then you should be. I ordered five of these items and it was a mixture of different kinds of screws, rod thread lengths, and finishes. One type of screw tightened the thing down, the other type did not. I get it that if these cost a dollar each it might warrant the poor quality of the order, but for the price NOT WORTH IT! So I have been on the hunt for a brass shower curtain rod for a year now! They dont exist and if the do they are poorly made or insanely expensive! This one is GORGEOUS! Wow It was slightly too long but for the price I bought it anyway...I cut about an inch off before installing it then drilled the hardware into the tile...it was first time drilling into tile and I was a little nervous but it was just as easy as drilling holes in a wall!
