I have this rug in several sizes though out my house. It is fairly think and well made. The runners and small round one I have do not really shed and have held up great. They look nice and since the backs are low, don’t overtake the island. The seats are larger than the previous ones, but somehow they feel smaller. They are also shorter. Hard to find something nice that’s 32-34 inches high. At 30 inches you definitely sit a bit lower. I’m a big guy and they are comfortable enough for a meal. Any longer than that and the hard sides dig into your legs. The seats have a wire spring like support, so if you are heavier the seat depresses quite a bit. Putting them together was easy enough. The wood screws on the crossbars were the hardest. Don’t want to tighten too much that it splits the wood, but need to tighten enough so there’s no play in the bar.. Jason. Norco, CA. Beautiful high quality rug. It is less dark and more bluish than the photos suggested. We are ok with that and aware that a hand knotted rug may vary. It still surprised us how blue the rug really is. It is very interesting how the white stripes are not achieved by using white wool knotting, but rather represent "missing" dark wool and the white is the backing of the rug.
