I looked long and hard for a duct cover that would hide the off center ducting I had because of a new range installation. I need something large enough to span the ducting and create the illusion of being on center if the new 36” range. The cover is heavier gauge stainless steel, thinking it is at least 18 gauge. It will not dent easily and looks like a professional, quality range hood. I have to figure out how to attach it as it is made specifically for Zephyr brand range hoods and came with no additional mounting hardware. Good quality product. Solid tight fan motor that spins easily and for a long time, indicates great fan motor quality. Really do like the ease for removing and installing metal meshed filters -- good quality feel. Fan is quieter than previous unit and has much greater air flow as well. On aberration is one the lowest setting for LED lights, they flicker. If one sets on middle setting and let light heat up first, then put on low, the flicker goes away.
