Out of the box, this griddle will NOT fit a Prestige 450, but I found it was easily altered to fit. As it is designed to fit the larger surface area of a Prestige 500, the rear spacer needs 1/4” cut off each side, and a small notch cut (see attached photos). The griddle is also too large front to back, but a couple of self-tapping screws along the back edge and inside the front lip of the barbecue prevent any movement. This griddle is really well made. Being stainless steel, there’s no seasoning needed - just clean with water after use to steam clean any food residue off. We chose a rectangular stainless steel undermount sink for our new outdoor kitchen space and I already love the direction it’s going. The sharp, clean lines give it a really modern look and it feels like it’s going to elevate the entire setup. The size is exactly what I was looking for and should provide plenty of usable space for prepping and cleaning outdoors. The front offset drain was a big selling point since it keeps it out of the main working area and makes the basin feel more open and functional. I also love that it includes a drain basket, such a simple but thoughtful detail. We did hit a minor setback with our timeline so it’s still in the box and not installed yet, but I’ll be sharing updated photos as soon as it’s in place.
