I was in need of a microwave to replace one I had for years and quit on me. At first, I was skeptical because I never knew Faberware made microwaves but it was offered at a fair price so I took a chance. It is more powerful, by surprise, than my old one which was 1000 watts. Even though it is smaller, I can still fit a large plate with room to spare. My only complaint thus far is the popcorn setting. This is the quick set button on top of the panel. Nice size for my small laundry room. I like the color and size. The temperature is perfect in that it freezes but doesn’t over freezes. I haven’t had to thaw yet but I see that it has a water plug to conveniently run water out when thawing. The temperature dial on bottom is nice so that if kids play with adjustments I am able to see change but I chose to cover with a piece of tape so that they aren’t able to operate dial easily.. I love the look and style of this electric kettle. It holds up to 7 cups of water. It boils at a rapid pace. I also like the retro styling with the power lever on the side to turn it off and on. Additionally, when you turn it on the light surrounding the lever surrounding lights up white. Once it reaches boiling the lever and light turn off.
