We installed this door about 6 months ago in our newly remodeled master bathroom shower. It is a curbless shower and we chose not to install the chrome water dam that came with it so that there is truly no obstruction when entering the shower. There are plastic water deflection pieces that attach to the bottom of the glass and they do just fine at keeping "splashed" water inside the curbless shower. Now if you take the hand held showerhead and spray it directly at the glass, water will flow under the glass and out of the shower. We use a shower squeegee after every shower and the coating on the glass is keeping it clean, so far. The door is well made, all of the parts are heavy duty and we love the slow close mechanism that prevents the glass from slamming into the wall.
