This is a nicely built fan, easy to assemble, and easily hung. The remote is a plug-and-play attachment and cannot be wired into a double light switch setup so the red wire will need to be capped at the ceiling. The Fan comes with reversible blades, one side is black wood grain with slight texture, and the other side is a grayish-brown wood grain with no texture. Instructions were simple to follow. There are 2 sizes of down rods (you must have at least a 9-foot ceiling and a fairly large room to hang this fan). We chose the black fan blades, combined with the black motor body, to give a more modern look. The remote is easy to use and the fan is almost completely silent minus the wind sound that comes from the blades of the fun when used at high speeds. The light is bright with both warm and bright white as choices. The dimmer on the light works but is not dramatic so even on dim the light is still brighter. While the tub is beautiful, the delivery experience has been a nightmare. First, they didn’t deliver when scheduled to, rescheduled for a week later and preceded to send a text message the day to be delivered saying they won’t be delivering because it doesn’t fit on the truck and maybe in three days they will deliver but right now they are busy. Finally received only for it to be cracked because of the delivery service who dropped at my door, blocked entry into the house and set it up vertically when the box states says this side up on a horizontal stance and not vertically.
