Love the look of this bed. Took a chance bc there were no reviews. The bed delivered in about 5 days. The packing wasn’t the best, but everything was intact and undamaged inside the box. Quality is fair, not exceptional. Upholstery is only on the outside of the bed, not behind the headboard, footboard or rails. Bed is assembled with bolts that are visible on the footboard which I don’t like. The fabric is linen and on the lighter side, not yellowish or grey. Hammered features are a nice contrast to the conventional upholstered bed design. Bed can be mixed with contemporary furniture or antiquish, like I have. All in all, I’d recommend. This is a beautiful bed. The material is a very soft velvet and the entire bed is covered. The headboard has a piece of wood that attaches to each side which adds a nice detail. Bed is super sturdy and assembly was very basic. You do not need a box spring. I have a mattress set which makes the bed taller than the footboard. This bed is definitely a statement piece.
