I ordered 2 chairs for my kitchen. I like that the chairs are made of ash, a hardwood. I expect them to hold up well. The arms and overall style make them very comfortable. One of the chairs will benefit from stain touchups at the joinery point in the back and on the inside of one arm, but these are minor issues. Teal color is great and fabric is nice quality. The chair is very low to the ground but with the backrest provides a relatively comfortable sitting experience. The foam cushions are very firm at first but I think they will soften. There is a noticeably different feel in the foam when you drop into the chair from about a foot up. I searched far and wide for dining arm chairs, I sat in 100 chairs at least over the last two months and could find nothing. I was hoping for wood chair with black upholstery that were wide and comfortable and had a full back. I came across these and ordered them hoping for the best but expecting to be disappointed. I am so glad I took the chance because they are exactly exactly what I was hoping for. They are so comfortable sturdy and look amazing. And it’s uncanny that the wood leg style exactly matches my new table like they were meant for each other. So, first of all, I do love the chair. It seems to be pretty well made. It is, as others have said, not a very comfortable chair. It’s very firm. It fits my needs in the corner of our bedroom. I am 5’7” and it is a 90 degree bend for my legs on the floor. The back of the chair ends at the top of my shoulders. We wanted a mid-century modern chair to coordinate with our blue bedding and even though this is more on the teal side than blue, it does seem to blend well. What did not blend well though, was the legs and bottom frame. They are not brown as the stock pictures would suggest. They are a very ugly and stark orange. We removed the frame and legs and repainted them an espresso bean color (Behr paint in eggshell finish). It looks 100% better. Overall I give it a 4 out of 5.. Vicki. Bargersville, IN. Mon Feb 03 2025
