I ordered 2 chairs for my kitchen. I like that the chairs are made of ash, a hardwood. I expect them to hold up well. The arms and overall style make them very comfortable. One of the chairs will benefit from stain touchups at the joinery point in the back and on the inside of one arm, but these are minor issues. I searched far and wide for dining arm chairs, I sat in 100 chairs at least over the last two months and could find nothing. I was hoping for wood chair with black upholstery that were wide and comfortable and had a full back. I came across these and ordered them hoping for the best but expecting to be disappointed. I am so glad I took the chance because they are exactly exactly what I was hoping for. They are so comfortable sturdy and look amazing. And it’s uncanny that the wood leg style exactly matches my new table like they were meant for each other. I ordered 2 sets of 2, and both boxes arrived in completely tattered condition, they were both opened and retaped and I can’t understand why Wayfair would sell these as new instead of open box, but luckily they were fine inside..
