It really cools, but with most air conditioners it cycles between cooling and just blowing air. Temperature goes down to 60, and the air is really cold when it's cycling. It has a remote control which is super convenient if you're using this in your bedroom and dont want to get out of bed to adjust the temperature. It can also connect to wifi which is a good added feature. It's surprisingly compact and doesn't take up much space. I was worried about the noise but it is relatively quiet- it sounds like our white noise machine. It seems like a quality unit that will last us years which I really appreciate. The remote is handy but I don't see us using it too much. It is very heavy and not easy to move by yourself. Even my husband struggled a bit to carry it downstairs so something to keep in mind!.
