I was worried about the noise but it is relatively quiet- it sounds like our white noise machine. It seems like a quality unit that will last us years which I really appreciate. The remote is handy but I don't see us using it too much. It is very heavy and not easy to move by yourself. Even my husband struggled a bit to carry it downstairs so something to keep in mind!.
