Poor refrigeration effect? --- Please note that when the yellow light comes on, the fan starts to cool down. It takes about 40-45 minutes to cool (0.08 gal each time, the cooling temperature is 46-59℉). Please do not put cold water in the cooling process, otherwise, the cooling time will be prolonged. After the cooling is over, the yellow light goes off, the fan stops running, and the cold water can be discharged.

Our rain barrels are uniquely designed with plastic fittings that match the rate of expansion and contraction of barrel plastic from season to season to avoid leakage. These rain barrels are repurposed from pre-used imported food barrels. There may be slight scratching or scuffs due to previous overseas transportation. Since our rain barrels are made of High-Density Polyethylene Plastic they can be left outdoors even in the winter months so there is no need to modify your downspouts in the Spring and Fall. The exact shape of the barrels may vary due to availability but the color and size remain true. Because these barrels were originally used to transport food, there may be residual food product odor. The residual odor will dissipate after a few full barrel filling cycles. We use a PH-balanced, environmentally friendly soap when cleaning so that the water gathered can immediately be used on plants without harm. Mind you, we are not using the hot or cold water functionally continuously but only as needed to cut down on our electricity bill.
