All the metal components fit together nicely, and the mounting points lined up perfectly. I used solid wood boards, and the final result looks high-end and custom-built. One very important thing to note (and not a negative—just something buyers should be aware of) the wooden shelves are NOT included. You will need to purchase or cut your own boards separately. This actually ended up being a positive for me because I was able to select the exact wood tone, thickness, and finish I wanted. However, if you’re expecting an all-in-one kit, keep this in mind before ordering. Once installed, the shelves hold a great amount of weight and are perfect for decor, books, plants, and storage. it took some thinking to get it hung. the only way for me to get all four screws in the bottom brackets was to assemble it on the wall, but that also made hanging the shelf by myself easier anyway. all in all it looks great, and i love it. im so happy i finally have a place for my rolling pins and cookbooks! plus the extra cabinet space since everything else pictured now lives on this shelf.
