I ordered 2 chairs for my kitchen. I like that the chairs are made of ash, a hardwood. I expect them to hold up well. The arms and overall style make them very comfortable. One of the chairs will benefit from stain touchups at the joinery point in the back and on the inside of one arm, but these are minor issues. I love the chair, but it is a tad bit stiff/hard, as some reviews had mentioned. The look is gorgeous! Just bummed they are going out of stock and I've had to shop in multiple places to try and get a complete set. After ordering from over a dozen places and they all came back with out of stock I then went with the Modway Silver Orchid chair for the middle chairs and kept the 2 Discern pleated ones I was able to find as the head of the table chairs. We are very happy with this couch -- it looks beautiful. The material and build quality look and feel like a more expensive piece than it is. But heed the other reviews: the seating is very stiff. It is not particularly comfortable to sit on for a long time. Totally fine for just a bit, but not for lounging, a nap, extended use, etc. Highly recommend if you want a nice-looking piece that won't get a ton of daily sitting use.
