I finally broke down and invested in a better vacuum. This thing is amazing! Mostly hard flooring and its highest setting picks up everything- doesn’t blow it around. Lower settings handle even my flat washable rugs and don’t suck them up. The real test? Nice piece, but it's really more of an institutional item and assumes that you are replacing an existing urinal or have framing in place to accommodate an install. Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports.
