Received the opposite of the description. Was a pre-lit flocked tree which I did not order. Now I have to wait another 10 days to receive a replacement and lug this to FedEx to return. I've enjoyed this tree for a few years now. It's a more narrow tree that fits nicely into a corner (perfect for my smaller townhouse) but definitely not one of this pencil trees that doesn't really look like a tree. The height is good too. Despite this being a tree made for smaller spaces, it certainly doesn't come off as anything other than a lovely full tree. I knock one star off because there are some sparse spots within the branches where you need to play around with the movement and placement of them to block the openings or strategically place ornaments to block. Love the tree. Looks beautiful. Putting the tree together was easy. Trying to figure out the plugs for the lights to work together needs improvement. By the time I hooked all the lights together I had scratches all over my arms & broke out with rashes where I had been scratched up. My tree also( a guess due to the height) had to be plug into the wall receptacle with two different plugs and you can’t plug one plug into the back of the other plug to save room on the wall receptacle. The plugs need to be longer and it would be nice if there was a switch to shut the lights off without having to unplug both plugs from the wall. Other than those improvements needed. I prefer the look of pine needles, so this tree fit the bill. At 5 feet, it comes in two parts. The top half is densely furnished with branches. The bottom half is a little less so, hence the four stars instead of five. With some fluffing and judicious arrangement of branches and ornaments, I still have a beautiful tree that I am super happy with. I have been looking for a new fibre optic tree for a long time. This one has lots of branches and a ton of fibre optics. I have 2 issues with it, however. The fibre optics are not attached to the branches, so you need to spread them out like you do the branches, otherwise they are clumped together, and there are lots of them! The second issue is that after it is on awhile I noticed that the color changing seemed to be mostly blue and green, and very little red or other colors. Kind of odd. I will not be storing it in the original box, as it was very, very skinny. I would prefer storing it fluffed out. I also bought a stand that rotated it very slowly.
