I prefer the look of pine needles, so this tree fit the bill. At 5 feet, it comes in two parts. The top half is densely furnished with branches. The bottom half is a little less so, hence the four stars instead of five. With some fluffing and judicious arrangement of branches and ornaments, I still have a beautiful tree that I am super happy with. My husband is on deployment and I couldn't get my 7ft tree down from the rafters in the garage. I didn't want another big tree so I opted for a 5ft. Theres are 2 reasons why I gave 4 stars. 1. It is definitely petite, & doesnt quite make the 5ft measurement, maybe 4'10". It's too small for my space (which is not the tree's fault since I didnt want to deal with putting away a giant tree), however it would be perfect in an entryway or a smaller room. It fluffs out nicely, there's no bald spots, it looks real, and it was a good price point. The 2nd reason for a 4 star is because there's only 1 string of lights and its not as bright as I'm used to, but that might also be because of where its at in my home. I dreaded getting a fake tree, but I am really surprised with how lovely this one turned out to be. It took me about 2.5-3 hours to put it all together for the first time and fluff it up; it's nice to be able to make adjustments in order to really "fill it in" to my tastes! Looking at it, I can't tell that it's fake, minus the lack of fir smell, of course :) I only wish the middle section locked into place somehow with the base section, as moving it once it's all fluffed is difficult, otherwise. It does not come with a storage bag, so either keep the box or order one. Also, the base is a dead giveaway for a fake tree, so be sure to cover it with a skirt of some kind!. Jennifer. This little tree is magic! I used to get a live tree every year for the living room until my husband fell ill and was in a hospital bed in our living room, then there was no space for a tree. This little tree was the perfect solution because it's so narrow I could fit it in another area in my small townhome, after all, I couldn't go a Christmas season without a tree!
