Well, when it first arrived, I have to say I was a little disappointed when opening the box it was not even in any packaging just laying there in the carton and did not look that appetizing. I think they could’ve also thrown in a insert telling customers they could expand it with their hands and make it look bigger so I not to star off the packaging and nothing in the box but the plant other than that it looks great I’m very happy with it. These artificial foliage grass plants are fantastic! I was looking for artificial plants to go on either side of my new table (also a great buy from Wayfair!) and these fit perfectly. At 48 inches tall, they bookend the table nicely giving some depth with the variegated height. I chose black matte to match out patio bar and accessories but I am certain the white is gorgeous as well. The grass looks real! The black pebbles in the planter are stationary which is great - they don’t fall out when I move the planters around. I did think the planters would be heavier. These are nice. I wish the bases were bigger so they would be sturdier. I used my own urn planter and still need to adjust where they connect to fluff them out (they come in two pieces). You need to remove a black protective cap before you insert the two pieces together. The cap is on really tight so I used pliers. Instructions aren’t very good. They were on a good sale. This is a beautiful topiary that anyone who is fond of elegant and classical home decor will appreciate and would cost at least double if purchased from one of the popular home decor catalog retailers. The pot is solid and heavy and fits perfectly in my existing planter. I really like that the height is adjustable which allows me to customize the appearance with easily movable rubber rings. The topiary arrives in a square box so the foliage needs to be fluffed and adjusted initially upon opening - just be careful doing this as I got a little aggressive with one of the balls and accidentally loosened it off of the pole.
