I’ve got a fairly long and steep concrete driveway that is starting to show its age a little bit. There has been some minor cracking from the freeze-thaw cycle each winter. I decided to try the Armour SX5000 water-based sealant to see if it would improve the situation. I have delayed writing this review for a bit as I wanted to driveway to go through at least one winter season. I first pressure washed the entire driveway surface which is pretty time consuming. I then applied the Armour sealant with a manual pump sprayer. This part went fairly quickly. The trick is to get the sealant covering the driveway well, but not so much as to create puddles that aren’t absorbed. I made sure there was no rain in the forecast for a couple of days. Initially, I did half of the driveway first and the first day that it rained the difference on the two sides was very noticeable. Water on the coated side was beading and running off and on the other side it was being absorbed into the concrete. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Quality Real Sauna Experience Delivery was fast and professional — they rolled the crate right into my garage. Everything arrived in perfect condition and very well packaged. Assembly took about 12 hours with two people. I’m pretty handy, but having a second person definitely helps. The barrel design goes together logically if you take your time. The cedar wood quality is excellent, and once heated, the smell is incredible — exactly what you expect from a traditional sauna. The 6 kW heater performs great. It heats the sauna to 180°F in about an hour. I prefer higher temps (185°F), and with minor airflow adjustments I’m confident it can reach 185–190°F. Steam over the stones feels strong but comfortable. As a heavy sauna user, I was very satisfied with how my body felt afterward — deep relaxation and a powerful sweat. Energy use seems reasonable for a 6 kW unit. Important tip The heater has a delay timer zone. To start heating immediately, turn the knob clockwise past the delay section and then back slightly into the first heating zone. Otherwise, it will wait before turning on. Also, after about one hour the heater automatically shuts off, so you’ll need to repeat the turn-on procedure if you want to maintain heat longer. Overall, I’m extremely happy with this purchase. I love this pergola! I had been debating one for years and finally found one with all the features I wanted. We paid for assembly which occurred over 3 days and 3 different crews. Caution- I dont recommend using the included anchors for anchoring to your base, unless your base is absolutely perfectly level. I did buy an air purifier filter and received it yesterday so I’m reading the directions to see how to put it in.
