This seat is really nice but the manufacturer made some really odd and annoying choices. First, the assembly on this thing turned out to be a lot less complicated than I made it, but only because they didnt provide any instructions. This is definitely a 3-person assemble job!!! The reason being is because the clips that attach the back are already screwed into the unit. You have to u screw them from the unit then take the extremely heavy back piece and screw the connector into place. You need 2 people to hold the heavy back piece into place and 1 person to screw it in. I did it by myself and nearly broke my back trying to hold it up. Please dont do that! The second really odd choice is that the arms are just pillows. I repeat, the arms of the chair are 2 detached cushions! This is basically an armless chair because why in the world would you put an arm rest that can, will and does repeatedly fall off the side of the chair with the slightest movement. Its extremely annoying. Third, the mechanism to pull out the bed only works 50 percent of the time. You have to constantly pull and pull and pull to get the chair to lift and shift. What a disappointment this unit was. I had to drain it multiple times in the first 24 hours, one time it leaked out all over my floors when I tried to run it while I was out, hoping to come home to a cool bedroom. Wishful thinking… The unit rumbles loudly, shakes my floors, and the fan was mind-numbingly squeaky right from the moment it turned on. It was many decibels louder than estimated - I clocked the average at around 64 decibels. Did not perform well heating my ~100 square foot room. The app worked but I was not able to get it working with Alexa, which effortlessly controls nearly everything else in my house. Would not recommend at all - will be returning as soon as possible..
