I can't speak for the longevity as the wood floor and walls are VERY thin, and I'm not sure I would rely on if being super secure from harsh weather or from savvy predators, but we have it inside a secure run that has a canopy over it, so it won't get super wet where we have it and the run we have is predator proof. Hard to find single-chicken coops like this, and the price was great. With a little protection from the elements, I think it will work out for several years plus, and it perfectly fulfilled our needs. I do wish it had an optional roosting bar in it.. Daniel.
