This is my first induction cooktop. Didn’t know what to expect, but I got to say, it is wonderful. It heats quickly and cooks evenly at different temperatures. The controls are easy to see and use. It has different settings, like simmering that works great. I really like the configuration of the controls as well. Did I mention how nice it looks on our counter, picture attached. When I got the cooktop it came with all the necessary instructions and warnings including how not to scratch the ceramic top. It uses two whisper quiet lift motors, a name brand controller module, four earth shaking vibration motors and a heavy duty frame. We purchased two king bed frames and both had FOUR position legs(3” each) and a LIGHTED remote control(see images). You will easily pay twice the price for a comparable bed frame anywhere else with the same features. My wife and I(58 and 60yo) were able to separate the two king bed frame sections at the three hinge points with a metric ratchet and wrench and unplug three quick disconnects in order to half the weight to 100lbs each and bring them up a flight of stairs, then reconnect everything on the second floor, this process saved our backs and cost us an extra fifteen minutes tops. Installation was super simple and the remote was already paired to the frame. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having cooked on this new cooktop for 6 weeks, I can happily report that I am enjoying it more than I did my Dacor (on which I experienced a scary igniter failure). Some of expressed concern about the arrangement of the burners and their BTU levels, but that is magic in my view. There is so much customization available that it takes a bit of time to readjust what to cook where -- but that's part of the fun in my opinion. The "stops" that exist between levels of flame, as well as the numbers assigned to each, make it easy to remember what number flame to use next time for that purpose. The only worry I have is scratches because the installer caused one near that simmer burner while setting the cap on and of course now that is there forever, sadly. I had to wait for this model to return to inventory, but the wait was worth it. Highly recommend this Bosch Benchmark model for its beauty, sure, but also for its performance and ease of use!. Bought this not too long ago. Even though it doesn’t have all the features of higher end cooktops, for the price it really does do the job it’s supposed to do and it does it well. Have this for about 15 months. Using Barkeepers for stainless steel to clean but over time, some spills have become impossible to remove. Any recommendations on other acceptable safe cleaners? I have black stainless steel. The cooktop works well. Too bad the hortizontal piece on which the knobs sit become very hot when the stove is in use. Need to be careful. Despite manual specifying what size of pots/pans should be used on which burners, I've been able to have at least 3 large pots/pans all cooking at once.. Visionquest1928. Southern California.
