Cage was shipped in the original box. A few bars are bent however they function properly. Some bent bars are to be expected with thin wire cages. Put together in five minutes on my own. I got this for when I travel with my two green cheek conures. The divider does its job. It can be pushed out by the birds so I clipped it to the cage. My two conures are aggressive to eachother but also very bonded so they always have to be close. I recommend using the divider for traveling at least so one bird doesn't injure another. I thought the bowls would be a problem but they stick their heads right in to get food and water. You will need clips for the front doors if you have birds that like to escape.
