Outwater’s “Edgemate” edge banding tape provides a smooth, neat finish to any project. This 25 ft. roll of real wood veneer edge banding can be used to repair or enhance furniture, cabinets, shelves, and DIY crafts. It works great on wood, plywood, particle board, hardboard, and metal. The brown veneer trim is pre-glued with strong hot melt adhesive. Glue is evenly distributed on the trim for a permanent bond on your furniture or shelf edges. Glue is activated by heat. To apply the veneer edge banding, simply iron it onto the surface using a household iron or edge banding machine. If using a household iron, turn the heat setting to cotton/high. There were a few hairline cracks in the large pieces of Flexstone but the contractor thinks he can work around those. The glue was a total loss but we purchased some locally for our project.(A piece of cardboard at the tips would have saved the glue)the top of the box was smashed.
