SUPPLYGIANT pre-insulated PEX-A potable water tubing is designed for residential and commercial hot and cold water plumbing applications. Manufactured using the PEX-A (Engel) method, the tubing provides flexibility and durability for plumbing system installations. The tubing is pre-insulated with 1/2 in. (15 mm) polyethylene (PE) foam insulation to help reduce heat transfer and maintain water temperature. The convenient 100 ft center-pull coil design simplifies handling and installation. Rated for 200°F at 80 psi, 180°F at 100 psi, and 73.4°F at 160 psi. Insulation R-value R-3.9 for 1/2 in tubing. Thermal conductivity 0.25 Btu·in/sq.ft·hr·°F. Manufactured to ASTM F876, ASTM F877, ASTM F2023, ASTM F1960, CSA B137.5, CSA B214, ANSI/NSF 14, ANSI/NSF 61, ULCS102/ASTM E84, and AWWA C904 standards.
