The fixture is handcrafted in the Meyda manufacturing facility, located at the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains, not far from Lake Placid which is home of the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympics. This fixture is UL and cUL listed for damp and dry locations.

Piece of…! Box was damaged, however, that had nothing to do with the quality of the tree. The bark on the trunk was covered with flocking, part of which fell off. Also, the stand had overspray from the flocking, but was not completely covered. That may have been OK if it was completely covered, and if the trunk was completely covered, but it was not. Also, several branches had fallen off and the pin to connect the lower and upper part was missing. Quite frankly, it looked like they were rushing to get this out the door on time.. Customer.
