I have posted a “before” photo. “After” photo coming! We bought these lights to replace our old, outdated, mismatched track lighting (shown in photo). Because they are going on a second floor ceiling, which is vaulted and might be 24 feet high. We have to have our electricians come out to install these. Otherwise it would be very easy for my husband to install these if it was only on a regular height ceiling. We really love the look of these. Nice design, puts out a good amount of light. Directions a little thin, but ok for anyone who has changed a light fixture before. The adjustable wire for the free side (side opposite the outlet) probably needs to be trimmed--but nothing says this should be done. The screw that anchors the free end can go directly into the ceiling drywall anywhere--doesn't need to be drilled into wood. Two people needed to mount it and get the angles right. I used MR16 GU10 Dimmable 15,000-Hour LED Light Bulb 2700K in Soft White, and the light is crisp and warm enough (not as warm as halogen, of course, but they run cool by comparison).
