This air conditioner works pretty well in a small room. My husband cut a hole in the wall to vent it outside. It stays fairly consistent to the set temp except during the hottest part of the day when the sun shines directly into that room. It still stayed cool enough but just not at set temp. Only issue I had (which is denoted in the specs, I just missed it) is it does come come with enough sections to cover up a standard sized sliding glass door properly, so I had to buy an extra extension kit for about $30. Works really, really well - upgraded from a smaller BTU unit to this one and it cranks. Definitely higher quality than some of the super random brands you'll see. Only issue I had (which is denoted in the specs, I just missed it) is it does come come with enough sections to cover up a standard sized sliding glass door properly, so I had to buy an extra extension kit for about $30.
