Rather than finish the wood to create a style, we let the wood finish the piece. It was this commitment to the natural beauty of solid cherry that inspired the design of the Aspire collection. Each solid wood board is carefully selected with each piece individually considered based on its natural character. The Aspire collection makes use of the beauty that nature creates by showcasing its journey by selecting the best materials at the outset so that little must be done to make them complete.

Well made and beautiful wood! We used a 5"H metal box spring and an 11"H mattress which brought the total height of mattress to 25" from the floor. This is a gorgeous well made bed I purchased for my master bedroom. It is very high and wide so I suggest measuring before purchasing; also it is extremely heavy so I added Wayfair assembly. The color is a soft dove gray with some dimension/texture as you would expect for wood variation, I wouldn’t say it is distressed. I believe it is composite wood and not solid wood. I really love the fabric center panel which has a silky soft feel. The only drawbacks are that the head panel outline isn’t a gold/brass color but just textured wood and that the frame is soft and is easy to ding if you bump or drop anything on it.
