This is a nice set of stools. Even though they are solid wood, they seem a little light weight. They sit at a nice height for use at a countertop or kitchen island. The seat portion is nice and wide. The seat is comfortable except if you’re wearing shorts because the banana leaf rush seat is a little rough in the skin. I only gave them four stars because one of the holes for the leg bolts didn’t accept the bolt very well and my husband and I had to really struggle with it which was frustrating. I finally assembled my counter chairs, and I am absolutely in love with them. Let me start with the packaging description, which deserves to be mentioned for its been meticulously, safely, and professionally done. Each part was wrapped in a thin foam, placed in a plastic bag, then in a separate box. Not a single scratch! Every part is marked. Every hardware is separated and marked! The instructions are pictured and written step by step! It was a pure joy to put these gorgeous chairs together. They are comfortable and I love the upholstery and the wood color! The chairs are sturdy, the wood and the craftsmanship feel of great quality. The counter height table in on its way!
