This outdoor garbage shed is a solid buy. Once it’s put together, it feels sturdy and well made, and it does a great job hiding trash cans and keeping the area looking clean. There are a lot of pieces, so patience is key, but the instructions are decent and everything lines up in the end. This is a great shed! As a 5’2 woman with a 5’8 hubs, it does feel a little short height wise but perfect for us. We did decide to run 1x4’s around the middle to give the walls some extra support. Quality materials and straight forward build. Instructions can be difficult to interpret and identify correct component orientation as they read more for an engineer to use than an end-user without technical building prowess. The unit comes in a multitude of pieces and expect a 3 to 4-hour build time to do it correctly depending on your skill level. It is daunting opening and spreading out the pieces due to the amount. The sheet metal comes laminated with clear plastic which has scratches and marks. I suppose you could remove the plastic but I chose to leave it in place. There was one metal component that was press bent incorrectly but I was able to remedy using a metal punch and hammer to relocate the screw holes to the other side. The shed is very good. It definitely takes two people three would be better to put it together to hold the panels up in place and to get everything where it’s supposed to be and just a word of warning. Make sure that you anchor it to a wall or it will blow over. I had this shed tucked into a corner right up against house. I cannot believe that when got in there, but it blew it over and it was full of yard things it was a mess. I had to pull everything out of the bottom, which is open and anchor it into the wall, so don’t make the mistake like I did and think that just because it’s full, the weight is gonna keep it up in a high wind because it will not. UPDATE 1 YEAR LATER: you must attach this to your house. i did not attach it to my house even though i had it tucked in a small space right up against the house with the chimney to one side. i thought it was secure because the whole thing is also in an enclosed fenced yard and didn't think the wind would get behind it at all. . that being said it blew over one evening when it was TOTALLY FILLED! What a mess. i had to pull everything out of the bottom and get 2x people to stand it up. the back popped open and one of the panels got damaged. all and all it was ok but we now attached it to the house. so don't make my mistake and think all the weight you have in it will keep it from blowing over..it will not. even in an enclosed area.. I was impressed with the quality of the materials and the instructions were pretty clear. I put mine on top of of a concrete pad. Also did a row of cinder blocks, which required a little customizing where the door fit in the wall. I took a while to write this because it took us six months to find a contractor to put it together! Everyone is busy during peak contractor season. The finished product is amazing. It's a great deal and an amazing shed with lots of storage. Very stylish. I think our contractor had to buy paint, roof shingles and a couple of extra pieces of plywood. I will give you the breakdown, it took a licensed builder a full week to put it together but it's done right. Just to let you know if you are a DIY it will probably take three times that. WORTH IT.
