I did not think it was comfortable at first, but after a few days and dialing in all the settings with the headrest, lumbar etc;... it is very comfortable now. 5 of the seats recline. Two complaints. One of the switches is backwards or reverse than the rest of the recliners and the seats that recline in the middle, it's pretty difficult to get your hand in there to control it. The couch itself is wonderful. It is huge so make sure to measure the space. The nice thing is that any piece could be removed if needed and all of the pieces can be rearranged. Getting each piece electrical to connect to the next one was a time consuming challenge I didn’t expect. I didn’t expect to have to do this with ‘full service’. The delivery company assigned to my area (NE Iowa) is AWFUL. After being rescheduled 4x, we FINALLY received it, only to have the delivery men just unload the boxes into our garage.
