Bought this several months ago. Although I sent the link with specs and installation instructions to the builder's subcontractor, he installed the grill on wood supports which is combustible. Of course, the builder blamed us for not buying via his subcontractor (which would have been much more expensive). After the subcontractor made a steel box with cement board to address the combustion issue, we discover he didn't allow room to pull the grease pans out. I looked long and hard for a duct cover that would hide the off center ducting I had because of a new range installation. I need something large enough to span the ducting and create the illusion of being on center if the new 36” range. The cover is heavier gauge stainless steel, thinking it is at least 18 gauge. It will not dent easily and looks like a professional, quality range hood. I have to figure out how to attach it as it is made specifically for Zephyr brand range hoods and came with no additional mounting hardware. I'm really enjoying this so far. I've got it working with SmartThings which means it's working (okay) with Google Home. All five of my RF fans work with this device. I would say signal is sent to those devices correctly 95% of the time. I have found that if I accidentally misclick, it is better if I count to 10 before making the correct choice. Is it perfect? No. But it is extremely helpful. These are things I was ready for, but some other buyers might not be ready for. This is an RF controlling device. While it makes some devices a little easier to use it does not make those devices "smart". If you have someone who likes to use the remotes a lot, the app will show incorrect settings for those devices that have changed with the remote. This does not bug me, but for someone who is not ready for that, make sure you understand what this device is first. I highly recommend Bond. This is an affordable way to use what you already have. Less devices in the landfill for replacements, and a pretty great way to control my devices from my phone.
