I don’t need it nor do I mind not having it, but it does disappoint me to know part of the price of the desk was for that feature. Haven’t reached out to pursue partial refund, but that’s ok!. Very easy to put together by myself and there’s plenty of room for my legs and I’m a tall guy and the desk kit is adjustable with the feet. The overall size is pretty much perfect for my one bedroom apartment and I have it out in the main area next to my TV stand. It’s not overpowering, but it still makes a statement and it holds two large monitors in my laptop, plus plenty of space underneath and don’t forget the cupholder and additional headphone rest.
