Just what I needed at an amazing price. I had to find a small model that could do both because I lack counter and cabinet space. I use this daily and it sits on my counter. The food processor fits quite a bit of food (4 cups)and also come with a shredder/slicer which is a bonus. The blender is full size. My first Cuisinart was a wedding gift and lasted over 25 years. Needlessly skeptical.... When I opened the box and removed the unit my first thought was oh, this is going back...however, after assembling it I decided to give it a chance. That was a good choice...and so is this little food processor. I was totally surprised at the speed with which it chops, slices, etc. It packs some power that's hidden in its compact size. I've been using it over and over again since then. As far as quantity, well, if you have a larger quantity than it can hold in the jar after slicing its easily emptied and ready for more and does it quickly. I have a larger Cuisinart but love that this one is truly lightweight and comfortably fits in my kitchen cabinets (hate clutter on my countertops). Clean up is a breeze too! Love this mini chopper. Bought because my old faithful mini chopper (different brand) which has served me for many years, finally decided to call it quits, by literally going up in smoke. The minute I plugged it in smoke started coming out of it, and that was the end of the road for old faithful. Needless to say, I was back on the market looking for replacement (ironically, just before I plugged in my old faithful and the smoke, a thought had just come to my head, about replacement and seeing the smoke was the weirdest incident.) So looked around, and this one seemed similar to my old faithful, and loved the few ratings that were listed for this item, hence I ordered it. I only used it once prior to this review, chopped garlic and ginger. I would say it did an excellent job of chopping it to the consistency that I wanted, it didn’t make it mushy, it was a perfect chop. It was relatively efficient and somewhat quieter than my old one, but still as loud as a chopper is expected to be. Cleaning it is easy, and small and compact for storage. The material seems to be somewhat lighter than my old one, but everything is built in such a way nowadays. Overall I am happy with it, and hopefully will get many years of use out of it.. Eg.
