I have been looking for a red valance for my kitchen window for months. But when I saw this one, all thoughts of red went out of my head, and I knew it would be absolutely perfect! Polka dots and wide black and white stripes just make me smile, so having them both together on this valance checked all the boxes for making the kitchen somewhere in which I am happy to spend time. The white braid trim is a great addition to the valance. The striped part of the valance is lined the dotted fabric is not. The fabric is not overly heavy at all, but it hangs nicely from the flat 2.5 inch rod I chose to use to install the panels. My window is almost 70 inches, so I needed two panels to cover that width.
