The Aquila doesn’t require any special tools for setup and the smart and fast locking system will have your door cover up in no time. Keep your home entrance dry and protected from the elements in every season. The 100% UV protected 4mm acrylic panel allows light through but filters UV rays that can make your door fade and peel. An integrated front gutter directs rainwater off to the sides. When mounting the awning on lap siding or anchoring to wall studs, an Aquila 1500 siding kit, (sold separately), is recommended.

The steel supports are high quality. Installation was straightforward. One person with any DIY skills can install a single awning. If I were to install the four, again, I would get assistance. Functionally, the Aquila solved a rainwater runoff problem. Since rain gutters were insufficient, the Aquila awnings serve to guide the water off the roof and beyond the windows below. The clear smoke tint provides some protection from the sun, while maintaining our view from inside. Aesthetically, the Aquila system matches the look of our contemporary-modern house.
