Arrived well wrapped and packaged. I was very nervous ordering online and not seeing in person. Installation was straightforward. Heavy and very solid feeling. Seems more expensive than what I paid. We just had it installed yesterday. Recommend that you get a print out of the specifications and the installation. From what I was able to read in Wayfare’s description section, we would be able to install the unit flush with the ceiling. And unfortunately, because I didn’t have printed specifications we had to drop down the unit a foot from the ceiling. Not the inconspicuous flush mount unit and I was hoping for. According to my contractor, this was a very complicated unit to install. To be fair this is a relatively new category of range top hoods that are being offered. Pleased with the noise level, but have yet to cook with it. Read reviews from other previous purchasers, and a common statement was how small the remote controller was. They are indeed very very heavy and arrived in two different packages which was only annoying b/c then I had to get people twice to bring them in, versus just once but two trips at the same time. Working great. I really like the dust collector inside. I'm used to having a thin vent to pull out, but this is a compartment you pull out and open up. The dust is inside and easy to pull out. I highly recommend it for anyone with a pet that sheds on blankets. It worked since I have non-standard shower sizes and making it custom is time consuming and more expensive. Looks nice and good quality! My only concern is the sturdiness of the entire unit cause there is a little wobble on the fixed panels everything the door is closed or opened with a slight force!
