It was time to replace a 20 year old granite sink. We had looked for a couple of months and nothing had stood out. This sink caught plenty of attention due to two things…first, the design and second, the basket strainers in the drains. The larger side is the perfect size for cleaning our pots, pans, and skillets (we cook a lot). The smaller side is ideal for washing vegetables or fruits. If you just need to rinse off any dishes, a standard drainer will set right down in the larger side (or at least the one we have does). A standard dishpan will fit in there too! Installation is fairly easy if you’re familiar with basic home repair and plumbing. I have to do some tile repair, so mine is a little more in-depth. This sink is a wonderful choice for any situation. I highly recommend this one. It’s stylish, practical, and looks absolutely amazing! The metal finish is a beautiful addition to any kitchen decor! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased this sink and had it installed in my kitchen to replace an older sink. It is worth every penny that I spent on it, and I could not be any happier with it! The large bowl makes washing dishes by hand easy, and there is plenty of room to place and soak dishes and cookware as I'm cooking and baking. The sink also drains well and is easy to keep clean. In terms of construction and aesthetics, the sink is high-quality and has a sleek and appealing design. It can be installed as an undermount or an overmount. Because I had the older sink replaced and was restricted to the size of the already-existing opening for it, I had mine installed as an overmount. The narrow flange around the top still gives it a sleek and modern finish, and there is still plenty of depth to the sink bowl. Just received. Nice sink but the "sound deadening" material is not as pictured. It pictures what looks like a sprayed on material on the entire underside of the sink. It is, in reality, some black foam material that is glued on the bottom (large piece) along with 3' x 3' pieces of the foam randomly adhered to the basin sides.
