This product is harder to find, it did come in dirty so had to hand clean each unit, 3 out of the 50 units per defective and the magnet that came with the product is not retail user friendly. I had a spare one with handle and it worked so much better. The basic brick style magnet took some play to get unit to unlock. It does the trick but overall quality not as good as I expected. This was just perfect at Christmas time when grandkids were here (8-13 yrs). It added to our play area in the basement and occupied them with something they could all play. There were a couple of assembly glitches. Base stabilizing bars didn't match up as pictured in directions, but we made it work. It works well and the kids loved the automatic score keeper.. This board is great. The audio is perfect...not too much talking and not a bunch of crazy noises, just enough to let you know when it’s the next players turn or when you’ve thrown a good dart. Audio volume is just right. My family and I have really enjoyed it so far. This is our first electronic board, and now my 11-year-old is hooked on darts. We’ve had friends over to play and they also seem to be impressed with the quality of the board and features. Everyone really likes the cricket scoreboard on the side panel, and in a standard game of 501 the cricket board keeps track of how many darts have hit the board for each players turn. Certainly not an essential bit of info, but nice to have that visual confirmation. The number display for the scores could be a little bigger (for those of us older folks with less than perfect eyesight) but that is a very minor complaint. The darts are a little on the cheap side, as they are not very heavy and the tips wear down pretty quickly. I think we are starting to get a lot of bounce-outs due to the worn tips. That being said I’d rather have a great board and sub-par darts. Darts are cheap and easy to substitute at a later time. The exterior of the board is so-so...not the cheapest contact paper applique I’ve ever seen but certainly not a high pressure laminate or melamine. It is probably a high-grade vinyl appliqué or maybe a low-grade melamine. Exterior appearance was not of great concern to me, as it was all about the performance and function of the board itself. It certainly aces all of those requirements for me. The instruction manual is a little confusing for a first-time electronic board owner, but it is written in understandable English so that’s a plus. The power cord length is good (did not measure but it’s at least 6 feet) which allowed me to place the board exactly where I wanted on the wall in the room. I’m sure there are ‘A-grade’ boards out there with much higher price tags, but for occasional home or office use I definitely would recommend to a friend. I am not going to lie. I was leery, but my expectations were exceeded just on the packaging alone! Took me about an hour to put together, instructions were easy-ish to follow. The operation is smooth, very quiet when moving up/down. The wiring threw me off a bit, as the light controller is in the box with the desk and everything else is in the box with the frame. I am very pleased, it feels sturdy. Caution, the box with the frame is much heavier than expected, but you can tell quality went into the making. Didn't have to program the motors or calibrate them. The cup holder is a nice touch for sure! I do wish it came with a PC tower holder, but there was room on top for the desktop. I am a developer, not a gamer, but it's perfect for my setup! The price is higher than many of the others but I chose this one, because the top is a solid piece and not split like a majority of the others. So far so good!! Purchased this table for my kids rec room. It’s being used mostly by ages 11-13. Definitely purchased the protection just in case as this age group could get a little rough playing.
