Such a genius idea to have sconces with a rechargeable lightbulb! I had never heard of this until I saw it on Wayfair, and of course now I see them quite a bit. This hallway going down to my basement is very dark. The electrician said he could not put a light up in the ceiling after he climbed up in the attic to look. So when I saw these, I was so excited to be able to do such a simple thing to add light to this dreary, dark hallway! I had a bit of a struggle getting them mounted right because they are so close to my ceiling, but other than that, it is very simple to get them mounted and have instant light wherever you might need it! The gold shade on these actually move, so you can rotate it to your desired spot. Strangely, it is a bit tricky to get the remote to work for both lights. It does come with two. So I just was played around with it and pushed buttons until I was able to sync them. I wish I could remember what I did but that part was a little frustrating. I actually mounted the remote to the side of the wall where I do have a switch that turns on a light at the very bottom of the stairs.
