I ordered the carbon tiles. They turned out great in my entryway, kitchen and closet. Installing them went pretty smoothly. With the four sides connecting it was a little difficult in smaller spaces to latch the sides but with persistence it worked out and they feel like they will stay together better than the connect and pound style. Installed this color-changing bathroom fanlight recently and overall I’m really happy with it. Wayfair sent the wrong color since we wanted the matte black one, but support helped. The fan moves air well, the light is bright enough. Color modes are the fun bonus that makes the whole bathroom feel more modern. It’s great to have options… normal white light for getting ready, softer tones for nighttime, and color modes when you want a little vibe. That said, installation was a bit trickier than a standard fan because this unit has multiple functions (light fan color modes). We only had one existing electrical feed at the vent, and while the instructions said additional wiring was “optional,” we wanted to unlock the full potential so we ran an extra line to be able to control everything properly.
