Mr. Stan expects you to put the probe within your grout....so not sure how this would work down the road if you ever needed to service or replace this probe...rip out your grout? Also, you'd need to consider your spacing in your grout where you'd be placing this probe. Wish I knew ahead of ordering and then requesting replacement which arrived like the first, no housing/grill. Inspired by a family photo of a Moroccan wedding dress (El-Keswa El-Kbira) this piece is a work years in the making. Engraved in my mind I knew that one day I would incorporate this personal iconic image in my art. My goal was to express the multitude of feelings and memories the dress evokes for me as well a sense of respect and dignity for my heritage. This image represents Moroccan beauty and a culture rich in customs and history. Legacy captures a sense of growing-up in Israel at a time when intra-Jewish racism was escalating and my family's roots needed to be suppressed, and nearly erased for the price of assimilation. After years of living in NYC do I fully understand the importance of celebrating one's authentic heritage, Legacy helped me explore this important question.
