The included grid helps water flow to the drain and prevents accidental chipping of the sink from dropped dishware. Due to the firing process, dimensions are nominal and may vary to actual up to 0.25". Apron-style base cabinet is required to support this sink. With the back infrared burner it cooked very evenly. The lights on the grill work great for cooking at night and they look pretty cool too.
